Well unofficially anyways. ;-) My long time friend who lives out in BC gave birth to a sweet baby girl on Apr 1st. It is a fitting day for the impatient little one as she was 6 weeks early and labour happened with the nurses not even aware...They told her not to push..she didn't and our sweet princess came anways before the doctor could arrive. I love her already!!! She is my type of girl.....Charging head on into life.

Sooooo I am headed to BC end of April for 10 days and my little princess will be coming with me so guess it's gonna be an all girl avent cause dad will be heading back to work when I arrive.

Congratulations my sweet friend, I have been smiling from ear to ear all day.

Here is a little peak of the new princess who still has not revealed what she would like to be called.

She is in the NICU getting stronger everyday and is anxious to go home w/ mom and dad.

I will be offering a Picture Day program for Pre-schools, Daycares, Gr 5 & 8 grad classes, and any teams who would like to have some formal pictures taken at a location of your choice in Ottawa and the surrounding area.

Boudoir Sessions

I have begun shooting boudoir sessions and realy am having a great time.

My motive for these sessions is to help women of all shapes and sizes feel beautiful.

I have 6 wonderful women who have been my practice subjects....while I work out lighting and posing techniques that best suit the female form....I am soooo very pleased with how the sessions turned out and my models did a wonderful job....Many Thanks to all of you.

I will be posting a new model every few days.....with just a peak...

each session is unique to each woman, depending on her comfort level....some were more like a glamour session and on the conservative side....others went the other spectrum and wanted some nude images...and most were in between. I am happy to work with you at your comfort level and deliver a product that will delight you.

I do not take erotic images or couples......I can refer you to a skilled photographer in this genre if you like.

I am looking for a few gals who would like a Pin Up type session (like from the 30's) you would need to have the appropriate wardrobe. If this appeals to you please email me at info@clcp.ca

I am part of a wonderful group of photographers who have banded together to help some children and their families with huge health issues. Please read below and go with your heart.

Imagine having a beautiful child.
Imagine finding out your beautiful child won’t survive past two years old.
Imagine having ONE wish for your child.
Imagine everyone banding together to make the wish a reality.

This is the story of Lilie’s family, and this is me (and hopefully all of you), committing myself to find a way to make this happen! Lilie is terminally ill. She has been diagnosed with GM1 Gangliosidosis. It is a rare, incurable lysosomal storage disease (enzyme deficiency) that will ultimately take her life by what research shows. . . by the age of two. She will continue to degenerate, go blind, have seizures, and eventually lose all ability to move and succumb to this disease. She is all but blind and her mom (Jen) is spending her last days enjoying what life is left in her daughter.

All Jen wants to do is take her daughter to the Ocean before she dies and Make a Wish will not grant them the wish because she is under two and they believe that Lilie will not get any benefit from it that it would only benefit the FAMILY… Jen is devastated.

This family is a dear friend of a good friend of mine. I’m asking for your help. Myself (along with a couple photographer friends of mine) would love to be able to get them to Florida. If we can get them to Florida (there are 6 in their family), they can stay with family…but with tons of medical expenses, right now it just isn’t possible.
So I’m asking for your guys’ help….anything that you could donate to this fabulous cause….$5, $20, $500…I get approximately 500 visits to my blog daily, if each person donated just $10, we could have $5000 in just one day…that would be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Is a non profit organization I belong to that volunteers their time to families dealing with an infant death.
Bereavement photography is one of the saddest yet most fulfilling things I have taken part in. I am proud to help these families grieve for their loss and celebrate the life of their Child. If you or someone you know will be delivering a child not expected to live please contact me for a session at the hospital when you deliver. There is no cost to you.

With spring almost here people are getting the itch to have some portraits done....guess kinda like cabin fever....I too am excited about the possibility of moving the sessions outdoors so........
